E. Alan Fleischauer's book, "Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning," is a helpful guide to personal finance and planning. It covers important topics like disability insurance, retirement, and more. The author focuses on the importance of change, especially regarding job dissatisfaction, offering practical advice and strategies. He also discusses critical financial areas such as life insurance, Social Security, and healthcare plans in clear and understandable language. Additionally, the book includes jokes to keep readers engaged and provides links to additional resources.

"Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer is a valuable resource for retirement planning and pursuing life goals. Alan draws on his experience to help readers envision their future and make the most of available resources. He covers various topics, including income, job satisfaction, and investing, while emphasizing the importance of planning for retirement and addressing issues like aging and long-term care. The book clarifies myths about social security and offers solutions for future challenges. Alan's storytelling and clear explanations make complex financial concepts easy to grasp, and the book's positive energy and engaging style make it a worthwhile investment.
I found nothing to dislike about the book.
The book caught my attention from the start, impressing me with its exceptionally well-edited work, wealth of information, and ability to inspire. It walked me through the importance of early planning, stressing how our current actions shape our future. I particularly enjoyed the author's thoughtful inclusion of a list of recommended books on retirement planning, along with a gentle reminder to savor life before retirement. The sprinkle of humor throughout added an extra layer of enjoyment. Without hesitation, I give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars. It's a book that's accessible to everyone, thanks to its informative content and complete lack of profanity. I enthusiastically recommend it to anyone seeking guidance on navigating the path towards retirement, though it will likely resonate most with those approaching retirement age.
