He discusses both the good and the bad, showing what it is like to work in a field that is constantly changing.

His enthusiasm for radio is obvious. From his start in college radio stations to the competitive world of commercial radio and even the early days of internet radio, he takes us into the exciting world of radio. His vivid stories give us a unique view into the difficulties and successes of being a radio personality.

The way he writes about his experiences dealing with challenges is one of the book's strongest parts. Reading about his success and resilience is inspiring. In addition to sharing his personal story, he also provides us with a summary of the radio industry, covering the technical parts and the people he met.

The fact that there are no typos is impressive and shows the book was carefully edited. However, at times, the story appears too polished.

Smith does a great job of explaining every aspect of radio work, even with its polished feel. He gives the impression that we are working with him to create the best radio shows. His interesting and insightful stories about famous people and radio stations' secrets are exciting.

"Powerhouse Radio" is a good book, but it could have been better if it explored Smith's deepest emotions and the overall development of radio. The book sums up Smith's career effectively, but it occasionally misses the connections to more significant changes in technology, culture, and music.
