Niching Up: The Narrower the Market, the Bigger the Prize by Chris Dreyer is a book that tells people that, instead of trying to be like everyone else, businesses and professionals should try to focus on a specific group of customers.

The book says that a lot of people worry that focusing on a niche will make their market smaller. But it tells us that's not true. The book gives a guide on how to find the perfect niche for your business. This involves a lot of things, and most importantly, knowing what your customers and target audience really want. The book talks about different ways to make your niche strong and become an expert in your niche.

I like how subtle the book’s tone is. The book is written in such a way that you get solace when reading it, and that way you get to understand it very well. Also, I loved that the book had examples from different types of industries. It also talks deeply about some drawbacks to the idea of the book. The first time I heard about niching was in my biology class, when my teacher discussed organisms and their development, nutrition, survival, and lifestyle. So, the concept of niching was not entirely new to me before I started reading the book.

I know many people who suffer from not having a particular niche. They have the knowledge or skills to do so many things, but not focusing on one makes them end up confused. They also do not develop themselves better in each field. I did not dislike anything about the book because it made me know that it is better to develop yourself perfectly in one field than to have haphazard knowledge and skills in different fields. This book contains no errors. It is exceptionally edited. I am going to rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because I have nothing bad to say about it. I will also recommend it to people with diverse skills and knowledge.
