You wouldn’t even know that it was a complex topic that was addressed in this book due to how the author simplified it.

The only thing that I didn’t like was that there was no table at the beginning or end of the book that explained some terms in the book, and it was also region-specific. Though this won’t prompt me to deduct any stars, the book merits five out of five stars due to what has been previously said and also because it was well edited without errors. It is a book that would be suitable for adults and those in the medical profession.

Neuroscience, and especially neuroplasticity are fascinating subjects, and it sounds like this book gets into those in a way that can hopefully raise awareness and help people have a tangible, positive impact on the lives of those dealing with hearing loss and/or forms of dementia.

Hearing loss can be so terrible, had once a massive pain in my ears, and it was a fungal infection which could also lead to hearing loss.
