Retirement is the endpoint of most jobs. Every worker has to try their best to make plans for this period, and it all revolves around having enough funds for the rainy day. Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book that describes step-by-step financial advice and life plans directly from the author, who has been a financial advisor for about 30 years.

Reconfigurement is a thirteen-chapter work that offers an idea of retirement planning. It focuses not only on issues related to finances but also on the relevance of subscribing to insurance policies on life, health, etc. Fleischauer continues to elaborate on the importance of "planning ahead" for the pension years because we must age whether we like it. He advises on financial planning, saying that we must always plan for the future, no matter how early or even if we do not enjoy our jobs.

This book was easily one of the best I've read on financial planning. While explaining planning for retirement years, the author also infuses humor so that the audience enjoys what they are reading at all times. Another thing I must commend is how the author made things easy in his writing; for instance, he always explains his abbreviations very closely to the word in question so that as one reads, he understands.

I did not dislike anything while reading this book. The writing style was palpable, with good outlines of each topic and humor from time to time. I found myself flipping pages in a book I originally thought would be boring; I also did not encounter any errors, leading me to believe this book was excellently well-edited. Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer receives a rating of 5 out of 5 stars from me. I recommend it to audiences of business-oriented people, counselors, financial students, and even ordinary people seeking information on retirement.
