Working from a broad spectrum perspective is not always as effective as working from a narrow spectrum perspective. Niching Up by Chris Dreyer is a book that aims to inform its audience about the importance of specialization and concentration on a particular niche in business. Through this book, the author tries to inform readers about niches, their importance in business, and ways to understand and integrate them for profitable use.

Dreyer teaches that one can succeed when specializing in a niche instead of being a typical jack of all trades. Throughout this book, the author uses classical examples and humorous connotations to connect with his audience and deliver the message. This book provides a comprehensive description of the niche market and its advantages and disadvantages. I suggest further reading of this work for more information on the niche market in detail.

I must say that this book is such a useful tool, particularly in this world where everyone is interested in making a living. It teaches that learning about niches can be effectively carried out. Dreyer discusses clients and the inevitable importance of building relationships and a solid reputation. The presentation of this book was also top-notch; each chapter begins interestingly and immerses the reader further in the message. Niches can be anywhere; one must be keen on discovering them. Also commendable is the author's use of examples in all his descriptions to ensure the audience, even those not business-inclined, still gets the message.

In the area of dislikes, I had none. This book presents itself in such an enticing and, no doubt, easy manner. I spotted no errors, leading me to believe this book was excellently well-edited. Due to its easy nature and excellent delivery, I'm rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it for business enthusiasts, professionals, and anyone contemplating the niche market.
