This is every theologian’s must read. David Friedmann delves into history with a detailed explanation of events, personalities and locations and their correlation to human origin, the Messiah and the end of the world. Using a combination of biblical chronology, science, and modern history, Friedmann identifies the bible as not just a history book, but the blue print of creation to the end of days. This book attempts to answer the frequently asked questions about the end of the world; when and where will it take place? What will happen? Etc.

Friedmann sets us up on a thrilling biblical journey from the creation to the messianic age. Using the Gregorian and modern calendar, Friedmann systematically correlates Adamic times with prophecies recorded by Isaiah, Daniel, and Ezra with events in Jesus times and modern history. There is an incredible expose on how modern events corresponded with happenings millions of years ago and mention of interesting unsung bible personalities’ such as the Amalekites, the Ishmaelite’s, and their divine purpose.

I do agree with Friedmann on many fronts including the ability of humans to bring the end of the world closer through their actions as stated in Isaiah 60: 22 and Mathew 24:14. These two verses are among many in the bible that indicates that the end of the world is not a set sell-by date but will be influenced a series of divine actions of human beings.

However, I disagree with his idea of “Snake’ in the garden of Eden. In one of his references from Rabii Yitzchan Ginsburgh, Friedmann insinuates that the ‘Snake’ is Amalek, Esau's grandson. However the bible is clear on who the ‘Snake’ is at Genesis 3:15, he is identified as Satan –the rebellious angel. Other biblical verses such as Revelation 20:2and 2 Corinthians 11:3, identify Satan as the serpent in the Garden of Eden. My feeling is that Satan will use his powers on human beings regardless of their heritage to prevent Armageddon.

Other than that, this book is a must read- a great challenge to your biblical knowledge and understanding of the end of times. I rate this book 4 out of 4 . It had no typos, proper grammar and interesting read.
David Friedmann is a recipient of the International Book Award and dedicated student of the bible. He works to reconcile biblical accounts with scientific observation and has published two books, 'The Genesis one code', and 'The broken gift'.

I have to say that I agree with you in that the "Snake" was Satan. Unless, Satan is actually Amalek. That part of the book left me with many questions.

Good review.
