Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer presents a comprehensive approach to financial planning that emphasises the importance of planning ahead and adapting to changing circumstances. The author, a financial advisor with over 35 years of experience, shares his insights and expertise on various financial topics, including income protection, retirement planning, insurance, annuities, and investment choices. Fleischauer emphasises the need for individuals to take control of their financial future and make informed decisions based on their personal circumstances and goals.

The book is divided into several chapters, each focusing on a specific aspect of financial planning. In the first chapter, Fleischauer introduces the concept of reconfiguration and explains how it can help individuals navigate the uncertainties of life and achieve their financial goals. He stresses the importance of assessing one's current financial situation, identifying financial risks, and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.

I like many aspects of this book. One of the strengths of the book is the author's clear and engaging writing style. Fleischauer presents complex financial concepts in a straightforward and easy-to-understand manner, making the book accessible to readers of all backgrounds. He also provides numerous real-life examples and case studies to illustrate the concepts discussed. Another positive aspect of the book is the comprehensive coverage of various financial planning topics. Fleischauer covers a wide range of subjects, from budgeting and saving to investing and retirement planning. This comprehensive approach provides readers with a holistic understanding of financial planning and helps them make well-rounded decisions about their financial future.

I don't dislike any aspect of this book. Reconfigurement is a valuable resource for individuals looking to take control of their financial future. Fleischauer's expertise and experience shine through in his writing, and the book is filled with practical advice and actionable steps that readers can take to improve their financial well-being. I didn't notice any errors while reading this book, which shows that it was exceptionally well-edited.
