Thoughts on Science and Faith by Michael John is a non-fiction book. The author is an engineer working on testing and improving products. Over the years, the author has tried to gain a better understanding of science and faith by reading books on philosophy, physics and watching various videos on the topic. This has, over the years, enabled him to collect thoughts of his own and refine his beliefs. The desire to find answers to some unanswered questions and his background as an engineer heavily influenced the writing of this book.
 
The book is a result of the author's desire to find answers to the thought-provoking topic of science and faith. The book offers diverse viewpoints and allows readers to explore the connection between these two belief systems. The author has used this book to illustrate the connection between science and religion and how the two complement each other rather than conflict. The book is simplified for the readers understanding of complex topics like the origin of the universe, the nature of reality, and the existence of God using simple scientific terms. The book encourages discussions from different points of view, encouraging people with diverse views and opinions to work together to establish the truth. The author has used this book to create a starting point for those willing to seek answers or simply want to engage in thoughtful reflection.

The book uses easy-to-understand language, simplifying complex topics like the origin of the universe and making the nature of reality understandable to all readers. The author has avoided using technical jargon but instead used easy-to-understand everyday language to explain scientific theories. The author has also supported his ideas with relevant scriptures from the Bible and simplified scientific theories like black holes, string theory, cosmic horizons, and entropy, which makes the book interesting to read. 

I commend the editor too, because the book is exceptionally edited.

In my opinion, this book deserves 5 stars out of 5. I recommended it to anyone interested in the science vs. religion debate or anyone who knows about some of the controversial issues of both science and the Christian faith.
