Kalliope's Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book is a book for golf beginners. The author, a former golf learner now a golf trainer, uses her experience to detail how to learn and perfect the game. The book is divided into three parts. Although they are connected, they deal with independent, specific procedures for making a pro golfer. The introduction is about the mindset, followed by practicing techniques and, finally, playing the game. There is also an inclusion of relevant motivational author's stories to boost golf learners' morale.

The procedural arrangement of the book's topics is what shines the most in the book. You won't just learn to hold the club and make scores from page one of this book; instead, you're first psychologically weeded to ensure you have the right mentality before furthering the training. That sounds like a concerned couch's advice, not an entrepreneur who wants to sell her book. The author also learned golf from scratch, so her guide is from a relatable point of view.

In addition, Barlis makes her book as practical as possible by detailing her guide to a point of zero confusion for readers. She also includes questions and practical manuals to guide golfers as they practice the sport. Also, she has added illustrations, e.g., how to do the swing and aim the line, to make learners easily grasp the techniques. By the end of the book, you learn that when it comes to any sport, it is not the equipment that matters but what is inside the player.

I enjoyed this guide. Its editing was exceptional, and I couldn't find any negatives to comment about. Therefore, I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars. For lovers of golf, whether beginners or trainers, this book will be very valuable to them in practicing or teaching, respectively.
