Weed, or marijuana, has become such a taboo topic. People may not choose to hang out with you if you talk about these topics too much. But times are slowly but certainly changing. Marijuana is legalized in a lot of places, especially due to its medicinal use. Due to extensive ongoing research in this field, it should be legalized in most places in the future, and more and more people will also start to accept it. Marijuana Martinis by Liv Hamrick is a self-help book that helps you learn everything there is to know about marijuana. It covers most aspects that you can think of and offers an in-depth guide.

The book covers its usage across history, its benefits, and its types or strains. Different strains are used for different purposes. Some are useful for medicinal purposes and pain relief. Some are for recreational use. Various chapters cover different details, like where to get it, how to prepare it, the best way to consume it, and how it can help with sexuality, especially for women. It also guides on how to combat the stigma around it.

What I liked most about the book was that it broke a lot of myths I had. I had lots of false assumptions about marijuana, but now I feel empowered. If used responsibly by people who are not at risk of addiction, it can really help people cope with various ailments and diseases. The most prominent benefits are for mental health issues, neurological illnesses, and chronic pains. Even cancer patients use it to trigger hunger so that they are able to eat while they are on chemotherapy. One of the key benefits of reading this book is the collection of recipes provided by the author for a variety of ways of consuming marijuana. The editing of this book was done well, and I found only one error.

There is nothing to dislike about this book. It's based on research facts and the author's personal experience, which makes it trustworthy for me.

I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I have given it 5 stars because it is such a valuable book written without a bias towards consuming marijuana. I would recommend this book to anyone who is fascinated by the subject. Reading this concise book will really expand your awareness and advise you to make the correct decision regarding marijuana in the future.
