This book has history politics, and culture, it brings the human toll of conflict and violence. The raw emotions in this book and motivations and thoughts of women in Kashmir who go through danger, real live stories, and thoughtfulness. This book shares insight into this divided region of genocide war. Farhana Qazi offers valuable insights into the religious conflict in Kashmir. This book is so powerful in the understanding of educational human conflict in Kashmir. This book shows so many secrets in Kashmir with their traditions and languages and their own society. The different layers of the Kashmir conflict are really eye-opening. Farhana Qazi shows the importance of the issues in the Kashmir conflict such as human abuses and the rapid expansion of armed forces within the region. I would give this book a 5-star rating for reasons been this book draws you in from the very first page. The writing style in this book has such a deep understanding of the issues at hand. This book has so many viewpoints involved, and this book could be educational and historical, cultural, or political. This book focuses so much on the impact of the conflict, that Farhana Qasi tells you so much about the Kashmiris caught in the crossfire between politics and violence. One needs so much empathy and understanding and understanding of Kashmir's historical experiences caught in the crossfire. The context of the Kashmir conflict goes way back to the historical conflict of different cultures. I think people who would love to learn more about centuries ago and the present will love this book.
