The author of the book Reconfigurement, E. Alan Fleischauer attempts to state the main concern that arises with the problem of retirement planning in the present days when economic predictions become more unpredictable. Fleischauer articulates the grim fact that with the costs of basic needs on the rise, the disappearance of jobs, and the effects of unemployment, many in America cannot ever think of retirement. His book is a wise resource for anyone who is in or wants to be in his 40s, offering tips and recommendations on how to deal with poverty and debt, get a good job with a good salary, and achieve a satisfying retirement.

Highlighted below are the financial planning features that the book Reconfigurement covers: career aptitude testing, the myth of Social Security, and savings strategies. However, Fleischauer focuses heavily on the point that early and intricate planning is necessary; the topic is explained clearly and accompanied by helpful examples. This is to ensure each chapter contains important concepts that are well explained and may be useful at some point in the life of the reader.

The best aspect demonstrated in Reconfigurement is Fleischauer’s capacity to break down thoroughly and extensively complicated discourse concerning monetary matters, which is what I love most about the book. The author displays excellent humour in his work and shares all his tips, which in many cases is sufficient to encourage people to read the book even if they are not bored with finance. The assessment of personality and career counselling gives this book a special code and does exactly what many people need today: to link their personal and financial objectives.

I would give Reconfigurement 5 out of 5 stars because these, combined with real-life tips from Fleischauer, make the book fun to read while at the same time being educational on matters concerning planning for one's finances. The descriptiveness is very apparent in his discourse, and the fact that he incorporates jokes makes the explanation not just informative about financial matters but also entertaining. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is a young adult intending to save money for the brink or a middle-aged individual to plan their future pensioners’ lives. It is a highly useful book, which is good for anyone who wants to be told how to survive in today’s economic environment and be happy with the results in the future. I have no criticism for this book, and I didn't notice any grammatical errors or typos, signifying it was exceptionally edited.
