"When Business Is Love" by Jan Ryde.

Hastens are known for their mastery and craftsmanship. Selling in over fifty countries, Hastens maintains a unique position through its commitment to quality. Hastens operates with the innovative spirit of a start-up, driven by a singular premise: love. This love for people, products, craftsmanship, and the mission to spread happiness is palpable in their factory, stores, and the comfort of their beds. To succeed in business, one must innovate to better serve consumers. The author, who took over Hastens in 1988, observed that companies often engage in price wars, leading to inferior products and no real winners. Instead, the author advocates for creating maximum value for everyone, inspired by optimization theory, which seeks the most favorable outcomes for all. Hastens' corporate culture is based on love; focusing on love and joy leads to success. The company prioritizes serving people over competing, fostering an environment of joy, peace, abundance, and gratitude. This approach creates high-quality products and sustainable growth. Limiting beliefs, such as self-doubt, restrict potential. Overcoming these beliefs leads to a life of abundance. The author emphasizes being true to oneself and focusing on positive internal dialogue.

Intuition plays a crucial role in innovation at Hastens. The best ideas come from an open, intuitive mind connected to the universe's inspiration. Intuition can be developed through practices like relaxation and meditation, which help access the theta brainwave state—a state conducive to innovative thinking. Children naturally operate in the theta state, which fosters their imagination and creativity. Unfortunately, traditional education often suppresses this ability, disconnecting individuals from their intuitive genius. Reconnecting with this state as adults can undo this damage and unlock innovative potential.

In "When Business Is Love" by Jan Ryde, he shares that Hastens operates on love—love for people, products, and craftsmanship—aiming to create the best beds in the world. Ryde highlights how Hastens' focus on quality and customer value has built a unique brand with a loyal following, similar to Apple. He contrasts this with the typical corporate mindset driven by competition and profit, showing that a business can thrive by fostering joy, peace, and gratitude. This philosophy, inspired by personal and familial values, suggests that love can indeed be the foundation of a successful enterprise, leading to both personal fulfillment and professional growth. Overall, in the book, I didn't find any dislikes; therefore, I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.

In conclusion, I will say that the book's editing is flawless, and I recommend this book for those who are business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals interested in integrating love and compassion into their organizational practices for sustainable success and personal fulfillment.
