"Ruth Ready" by Kitty Arceneaux happens to be one of those books that are truly exceptional works of literature that insightfully probes into the very essence of love, marriage, and faith. The very first page will take the reader on a journey with the incisive insight and tender narrative of the author to reach the roots of self-discovery, seeking, and spiritual growth.

The most striking aspect of this work is how candidly and genuinely the author discusses that relationship complexity. Arceneaux uses her anecdotes and reflections on her marriage, adding layers of authenticity in a manner that is relatable yet inspirational. I nodded in agreement and reflected upon my experience while reading the book, which was enriching and intensive.

What gives "Ruth Ready" its edge is a focus on faith and trust in marriage. Beautifully interspersed are biblical teachings and practical advice; it rounds out smoothly into a Bible study guide for building a solid relationship that can and will last. The addition of spiritual flavor is assisted by scripture quotations and prayer breaks strewn throughout the book, reaching deep into the reader's soul.

Much enlightenment is derived from this book's focus on self-improvement and personal growth within the context of marriage. Continual learning and adjustment to the conditions in a relationship are Arceneaux's messages expressed in refreshingly different ways on the idealized concept of marriage. Empowering and reassuring, her message is that marriage is a journey of growth and discovery, not a destination.

In terms of negatives, there is little to find wrong with "Ruth Ready." One possible drawback for some readers is the heavy reliance on faith and spirituality. This will not appeal to everyone or work for all readers. Even for those who are not religious, however, the basic message of love, respect, and dedication carries over into any type of relationship.

Overall, "Ruth Ready" is a must-have for many looking for some advice and inspiration to pursue a complete and balanced marriage. Kitty Arceneaux's words of wisdom, insight, honesty, and steadfast faith reflect themselves throughout this jewel of a book. For content, execution, and delivery, I give this book a five-star rating because of the extreme impact it leaves on its reader.
