The book Parenting Guidelines by Johnny Medrano gives parents advice on how to bring up their kids. It teaches parents how to approach their children with both a positive and negative attitude. The lack of effective parenting techniques is illustrated in this book. This book is for you if you are a parent or prospective parent. It includes all the rules to abide by and parenting strategies that one may decide to use to bring up their child.

The author's brief book explores the lack of effective parenting techniques and delves into the topic of parents' diminished moral worth in raising their children. A child's personality is mostly formed by their parenting, and the author, who worked as a juvenile parole supervisor, witnessed firsthand how parents often fail to provide their children with the necessary upbringing or guidance. The author covers a wide range of subjects and issues in this book that will assist parents in raising their children morally. The author talks about the various roles that parents play when raising their children, including being the family's leader (the father), the mother, the support system, and a single parent. The author went into great detail about each function and how each one ought to act or conduct themselves both toward and in front of their wards. As an example, purchasing flowers for his spouse as a token of affection and gratitude can have a positive impact on the children in the household since it demonstrates the father's love and devotion to their mother. The author talked about the various stages that kids go through as they grow up, and I can speak about the Terrible Twos, which are an important time in a kid's life since it's when they start to explore and accidentally do things that aren't appropriate. Now is the time for parents to gently reprimand any inappropriate behavior. This book might be very important to parents, as it offers a lot of important information.

Despite the fact that this book needs extensive editing and has a lot of mistakes, I still found it to be a really educational read that taught me a lot. It was a quick read since the author said that some parents may become bored and nod off if it was a long read. I can understand this because a book that is too long tends to discourage readers. And with that, I will give this book a rating of four out of five stars due to the many mistakes it has, but overall, I thought it was a decent book. Parents or those aspiring to parent should read this book, as it contains a wealth of knowledge.

I always find the subject of parenting very touchy as children are different with unique personalities. What works for one parent might not work for another because of this simple fact. Nevertheless, my interest is piqued. I would love to see how the author approaches this subject.
