When Mr. Frederick David Nachman, representing Nachman International Trading Corporation, who was intended to finalize a deal with the Nigerian government, vanished from the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos On the 14th of August, 1976, his wife, terrified and upset about the situation, hired Mr. Thomas Richard Spradlin, an attorney, right away to look for her husband and maybe bring him back home. Taking the lead, Mr. Spradlin returned to Lagos to look for Mr. Frederick Nachman. He encountered numerous perilous circumstances while in Lagos. Find out about what exactly happened to Mr. Nachman, who made him vanish, and why.

Everything the author wrote in the book was interesting to me. The author provided a solid basis for the reader to comprehend the circumstances that complicated the search for Freddie from the backstory of the novel. I like the author's meticulous writing style in this book. Along with describing the events as they happen in chronological order, the author also builds tension and makes me want to keep reading. The book contains a number of lessons that, despite being fiction, I learned as I went through the chapters. Despite being a foreigner, Richard Spradlin's ability to assemble a fantastic team in Nigeria is truly remarkable.

I have no dislikes about the book. I was intrigued by the chance to learn about African culture. The author's inclusion of information on the many tribes, their cuisine, and their attire made me happy. After every chapter, the author supplied facts not found in the story. The fact that the political overtones were barely noticeable while still providing the essential context for the protagonists' exploits delighted me as well.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I learned a lot about Nigeria from this book's history lesson, which was well worth reading because I had no idea how much information the author had at their disposal. The fact that this was a true event pleased me. Particularly for a non-fiction book, the plot and delivery were on point, and the audience could understand the language with ease. I found very minimal errors while reading the book, so it's safe to say that it was edited by a professional.
