Jan Ryde's book, "When Business Is Love," is a type of literature that captures your attention, motivating you to reach higher levels and learn from mistakes. While recounting his business journey, Ryde openly shares personal details, which is crucial for understanding his company's development. For Ryde, this isn't just another book; it's a well-earned accomplishment, a reflection of the goals he accomplished. After his company's impressive earnings of more than a billion Swedish kronor, Jan Ryde kept his self-made promise by documenting his success.

The author shares his experiences as he assumes leadership of the family business as the fifth-generation successor. After taking charge, he confronts the challenge of low annual revenue. Nevertheless, he sets the ambitious objective of achieving billion-dollar revenue for the company. What makes this book unique is the author's unwavering belief that love should form the foundation of all business endeavors. He passionately illustrates how incorporating love into every aspect of a business can profoundly impact not only the company but also everyone involved. I found this book to be quite enjoyable and did not feel any dislike for it.

The story expertly intertwines Ryde's exploration, the background and principles of Hästens, and the writer's profound convictions about improving the world through better sleep. The focus on the influence of love and joy and their transformative effect on the business world challenges conventional ideas of competition and market dynamics.

One of the book's notable aspects is Ryde's dedication to openness and vulnerability. Rather than just presenting the achievements, he explores the difficulties and crucial moments that influenced Hästens. This genuineness enables readers to deeply relate to the story, rendering the conveyed lessons even more profound.

The book is flawless and has been well edited. I encountered no grammatical or typographical errors while reading it. This book deserves 5 out of 5 stars! It serves as a guiding light for leaders and entrepreneurs across all industries. It surpasses traditional business strategies and urges readers to adopt essential qualities such as honesty, transparency, forgiveness, integrity, modesty, and support. Jan Ryde's storytelling exemplifies the profound impact of love in business, as depicted in "When Business Is Love."
