Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis by Kalliope Barlis

“Play Golf Better Faster” by Kalliope Barlis is a book to keep in your golf bag if you are the ernest golf player. It is a short book but packed with useful information to help golfers improve their game quickly by focusing on the mental side of golf.

Each golf shot creates a unique neurosynaptic pathway in the brain that emphasizes the importance of quality practice. So, golf playing involves different techniques as well as mental prowess for excellence and optimization of performance. A golf player needs to hone visualisation power to reinforce positive shots.
The book is divided into three parts and is suitable for both beginners and experienced players. It uses Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques to help golfers improve their focus, visualization, and mental preparation. The author has dedicated every page to her readers' interest by combining the link between mental acuity and success.

What I like about this book is
1. It's well-written and easy to understand.
2. It has practical exercises and tips.
3. It covers both mental and technical aspects of golf.
4. It includes helpful diagrams and illustrations.
5. It's professionally edited with no spelling mistakes.

One of my favourite quotes from the book is: "You can always change who you are and what you do simply by changing how you think so that you do things in better ways than you did before." This shows how the book's lessons can apply to life beyond golf.

There is nothing I can say against the book. The tips and structured exercises that Barlis has provided are highly laudable. The book is equally important for mental conditioning as well as comprehensive technical guidance. If you're a golfer looking to improve your game, especially the mental part, this book is worth reading. It's a great guide to keep in your golf bag. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
