It's the joy of every parent to see their children walk in the ways they believe are right and agree with their moral inclinations. Therefore, it is unsurprising to see Jemima Paul's excitement when her daughters, Priyanka and Deepika, tell her about dreaming of heaven. As I read the book, I tried to picture how she must have put everything she wanted to do aside and called in her husband, Arvind Paul, to sit excitedly to hear the children share the experiences they had while they dreamed. In "Snatched up to Heaven!," the author shared her children's dreams and gave commentaries on what she could deduce from them based on what the Bible says.

I grew up in a religious home, and we mostly had morning devotions. I remember my parents constantly trying to teach us the Bible and explain some parts to the best of their knowledge. When I read the description of this book, I felt nostalgia; it reminded me of how I used to have dreams about angels after some night devotions, especially when we had to watch a Christian movie before we went to bed. I could relate to the fact that the children's dreams were valid.

One of the things I appreciated about the book was that the author did not make it a doctrine to be followed. There's no guarantee that after reading this book, your kids will begin to dream of heaven. This book is just Jemima's way of expressing gratitude that her children chose to walk in God's ways. In the book, the author repeatedly talks about how she prays for her kids to know Jesus. For the author, her children's dreams show that her prayers are answered.

I also like that the author did not try to water down the children's dreams to make them more appealing. The author shared them the way the children had them. I believed the author because I had issues understanding some of the dreams (not that it was a bad thing). The fact that I questioned some of the dreams showed that the author did not sugarcoat them. This element of honesty could make readers who might initially see the stories as bizarre warm up to the book.

There was nothing that irked me about this book. Therefore, I rate it five out of five stars. I recommend this book to Christian parents looking for something to motivate their children to walk in God's ways.
