One of the best politically driven but non-politically heated novels I've read recently is The Solution is Political Revolution by Jillion R. Rising. Rising tells the reader that he supports the American people rather than a political party. The book begins with a personal introduction from the author, laying the groundwork for a trip through the chapters that address many issues facing the US and build upon one another like steps on a path. Rising does more than just list the problems—he asks us to participate in the discussion on everything from the growing income disparity to the corruption that permeates the halls of power in Washington. He gives his opinion on possible solutions to the flawed system and invites us, the readers, to provide even better ones if we believe we have any.

According to Jillion, political revolutions are the only way to achieve the kind of fundamental change required in the modern world, and they have been successful in bringing about beneficial change. The author posits that avaricious politicians are deliberately causing division. Recognizing that the interest on the nation's growing debt will exceed its domestic surplus, Republicans and Democrats are actively pursuing a more centralized government. They are quite concerned that a political revolution would begin if the people learned the truth about how they have totally bankrupted their nation.

I still believe that politicians everywhere, not just in America, should read this book since it addresses issues from different perspectives, even though our political philosophies are diametrically opposed. For some prominent politicians, I suppose it would be an uncomfortable read, but only if they had a conscience. The author contends that the majority of politicians and bankers lack quality. I gave the book a five out of five star rating. There were no mistakes, and nothing went wrong. It was well edited.
