Review of Snatched Up to Heaven!
Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul’s book Snatched Up to Heaven! is an extraordinary book that highlights a dream that their daughters shared with them. The dream that was recounted to them was so mesmerising that they believed that it should be known by the world and aimed to share it via media platforms such as radio, books, and news. The book follows the dream in extreme detail. The dream that we are talking about is how their children were taken up to heaven by angels and visited Jesus’s house. If this sounds intriguing, you should read this book.
In this book, we are invited to read about the extraordinary dream the children, Depprika and Priyanka, had. One morning, the children excitedly ran down the stairs and sat their parents down to discuss the dream that they had just had. The dream consisted of them being taken up to heaven and given two full days to explore heaven. The children expressed how they were invited into Jesus’ house and how the grass was watery. They went on to suggest that eternity in heaven is beautiful, and on top of this, they discussed that they also visited hell. Now here are the questions that could be raised: children often have an overly excited brain, so what if some dreams were imaginative? The only person to know what really happened was the child who had the dream; it is impossible to justify and confirm if the events in the dream happened. What is very important here is that the family themselves are Christians, and therefore there is no doubt that the parents would not believe that the events did occur, but what was especially special was how the children said that they would certainly visit again. The question is, what else did the children express about this dream? All is revealed within this one-of-a-kind book.
There are many positive attributes to this book. For example, the language in this book is clear, easy to understand, and relevant. This is great because it allows unsteady readers to access this book and read it with ease. Furthermore, there are no errors in this book. This not only shows that the book is edited to a professional standard, but it also helps us to read it with ease without being disturbed by typos or grammatical errors. The writing style is unique too. The style is consistent and fitting for the book. One thing I particularly enjoyed about this book was that the parents were proud of their children and aimed to spread their dream and make it seem realistic. I am not a religious person; however, upon reading this book, it has made me wonder about many things, and I like this.
In relation to negative aspects, I do not believe there is anything to dislike. I loved everything about this book. I liked how it portrays a child's mind. It is unique, and it will certainly add to someone's thoughts on faith and Christianity.
In conclusion, I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars. As suggested above, I enjoyed the book as a whole. The dreams were captured well, and the descriptions were exceptional. I look forward to more books like this. As a recommendation, I would recommend that children and adults who believe in Christianity may like this book.
