Review of The Glorious Beast!
The Glorious Beast is written by Scott L. Chally and is a stand-alone fantasy book. This genre is one of my favourites, as it is full of adventure, tension, and excitement. In this particular fantasy novel, we are greeted by three people who join together and create a new business venture. The excitement begins when Scott begins to deal with visions and is unable to control them or what occurs within them. The story is driven by the visions when they take effect on the three men's lives, in particular Scott's, but how does it change their lives and journey throughout this business venture?
In this book, we are greeted by three men: Scott, Jimmy, and Ricky. The trio began to work together to create a specialised business at a factory. This venture was nothing like it should have been, and mysterious events took place following the launch of the business. The novel heats up when one of the trio, Scott, begins to experience waves of visions. Though these visions are not normal, they display glimpses of the future and potentially showcase hidden truths. The visions impact Scott's life for sure, but they also impact the lives of the other members. For example, they interfere with their lives and make them feel a variety of feelings, such as fear, worry, and doubt. But how does the plot continue? Can Scott grapple with his newfound abilities? Read this book to find out.
There are many positive attributes to this book. For instance, the language used in this book is simple, clear, and easy to comprehend. Furthermore, I did not find any errors, neither typographical nor grammatical. I was able to read this book with ease, and this led me to believe that the book was edited to a professional level. The writing style in this book is simple and fitting for the book. I liked how the author had incorporated the issue of visions. This made me intrigued further due to the visions Scott had implemented in not only his life but also those of his colleagues. The ending of the book was also intriguing. I love the character development in this book. Each character had their own uniqueness about it. I was able to see them change within the book, and this is what usually makes a book more exciting.
In relation to the negative aspects, I did not find anything to criticize. The characters were well thought out, and I was able to picture them and all their personal traits as if I knew them at a personal level. This shows how great Scott Chally is at writing fiction.
In summary, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I have given the book the highest rating due to how great of a writer Scott is. I was able to engage with the plot and understand each character and what relevance they had to the story. I recommend this book to those readers who enjoy fantasy novels.
