Play Golf Better Faster: The Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis is a quick guide to playing your best golf with the help of Neuro-Linguistic Programming© (NLP). I have enjoyed reading her previous books, Phobia Relief and Play Golf Better Faster, which dived deeper into NLP and learning to play golf. This is the second book in the Play Golf Better Faster series. It consists of three major parts. The first section offers advice on playing golf by using your brain. The second section consists of the game's practice. Playing the game is covered in the third section.
The book is easy to read, concise, and well-organized. As the book's title suggests, The Golf Bag Book, each section includes a set of simple instructions similar to a manual before practicing any game. The book's opening notes clearly outline the benefits readers can expect from following this book closely. Apart from instructions, this handbook has some of the exercises from Play Golf Better Faster. The illustrations at the end are really useful. What I liked the most is how the author does not overuse golf jargon, as she believes it distracts learners from other significant lessons, which I solemnly agree with. I enjoyed the author's desire to help her readers play their best golf throughout the book. She never strays from the topic, which makes for a satisfying read.
This book could come in handy for people looking forward to getting better at their game. Every golf bag should have a copy of this book. However, this book alone is not sufficient. The readers should read Play Golf Better Faster, the detailed book on learning golf, before reading this manual. I give this book a rating of five out of five because there is nothing to dislike. Delivers what it promises.
