Golf is a great sport, not just for old retirees. It transcends swinging a club and can be used to train the mind. The idea that someone can swing a club and put a ball in a small hole is exciting, right? Especially if the target is far away! Well, this book, Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book, written by Kalliope Barlis, focuses on how to play the game and build mental strength.

I liked many things about this book. Kalliope's insights on the sport are profound, and her diction is straightforward. Some authors might want to flaunt their professionalism by using fancy vocabulary to teach a sport, but this author refrained from such an approach in her book. She offers lessons clearly and concisely, which attracts me to the sport even though I have never played.

Another good thing about this book is that it teaches golf in an approachable and friendly manner. The author was like a coach to me; her ideas were strategic and could help beginners and professionals. This book also stands out in terms of editing, with no errors or typographical blunders interrupting my reading experience. This seamless experience made me love the book even more.

I have nothing to dislike about this book. The author's methods are insightful, and I like how she took her time to explain the basics. Whether professional or novice, this book deserves everyone's golf bag. It can help golfers improve their game.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I found nothing to dislike about it. I enjoyed reading it and would also like to read the sequel and see what the author has in store for golfers. I happily recommend this book to anyone who plays golf, whether beginner or pro. It is set to give them a more strategic understanding of the game.
