"The Solution is Political Revolution" by Jillion R Rising is a powerful book that tackles the big problems in America today. Rising believes that both major political parties, the Democrats and Republicans, are not working for the people but for big corporations. She thinks this is why the rich keep getting richer while regular people struggle more and more. In this book, she explains her thoughts on why America is in trouble and what we can do to fix it.

Rising's examination of the background of the issues facing modern society is one of the book's most notable features. She begins by tracing events from the American founding to the present. This makes it clearer to readers that the problems of today didn't develop overnight. They have been steadily increasing in size. The book is really instructive and provides a greater knowledge of why things are the way they are because of this historical perspective.

Rising also emphasizes the value of civic engagement. In this book, she suggests we don't have to wait for the government to fix our problems. She gave examples of how projects done in the community have helped communities in the past. This section of the book gives us hope since it demonstrates that we don't have to be helpless. We can help ourselves sometimes.

What I didn’t like about the book is that it can sometimes be quite complex. Rising includes a lot of details and technical terms that might be hard for some readers to follow. The author talks a lot about economic policies and government systems, which can be confusing if you're not familiar with these topics. A simpler explanation or a glossary of terms might have helped make these sections easier to understand.

Despite this, I am giving "The Solution is Political Revolution" a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. This high rating is due to the book's thorough research and clear call to action. Rising doesn't just complain about the problems; she offers concrete solutions and encourages readers to get involved. The book is also well edited, with no noticeable errors, which makes it a smooth read. Anyone who wants to know how to change things and grasp the underlying roots of America's issues should read this book, in my opinion.
