Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book is a small book that affects an entire worldview in an understated manner. This comes from the heart of a man and is the embodiment of the truism that very often the true benefit can be derived from the stance and not necessarily from the strike.

I think that the book’s strength is the explanation of mental strategies and their transfer to golfers, including those who have no experience with them. Explicitly, it is worth noting that the author makes the book a very compelling and adventurous piece of work to read through by including real-life examples of exercises, anecdotes, etc. in the piece of work. The focus on neuroplasticity and the capability of rewarding is also the most thought-provoking to create the reader with a sense of possibility and hope to get beyond mental constraints. As a slight drawback—and this is certainly the book’s strength as well as weakness—this work provides a precise and condensed view of key mental conditioning practices. Nevertheless, the one who desires to learn some specific tactical directions concerning swings or courses can be slightly disappointed.

Barlis’s writing style is quite unorthodox when compared to other writers. Unlike other writers, who assume that the reader wants to learn advanced terminologies, she concentrates on the tools and strategies that may be used in the course. Her work on neurolinguistic programming (NLP) is especially helpful as it offers a step-by-step method of eradicating negative programming. The book is precisely short, and this is a positive quality rather than a weakness. It is a brief and specific tutorial that does not provide a large amount of information that a person cannot immediately process. Every chapter is a carefully prepared piece of advice that can be taken and applied instantly.

In one’s training, when one has stuck at a certain level, or when one would like to take one’s game to another level of performance, this easy-to-read book is a must-have. The editing was very good, and there is not much that one could possibly frown at. Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book is an excellent piece of work and deserves 5 out of 5 stars as it is not just a golfing book but a tool for transformation and growth, passing off as a golfing book. It is a book that will make you a better golfer, but more than that, it is a book that is clear and will help you become a better person.
