Ruth found out that the government didn't want to get involved and find her husband (Frederick David Nachman) when he went missing in Lagos, Nigeria, so she asked a law firm for help. The law firm (Clifford & Warnke law firm) is retained by her husband's company (Nachman International Trading Corporation (NITC)), and when Ruth made it clear she wouldn't spare anything in this assignment, they sent Thomas Richard Spradlin to Nigeria to find him. The thing is, no one knows if Frederick David Nachman (Freddie) is alive or dead. No one knows if he was kidnapped or just disappeared on his own accord. Well, not yet, anyway. Will Richard be able to help Ruth and her family?

Reading this book made me laugh, and it brought out my emotions, too. Richard proved himself to be a kind and honest person, and he would risk his life for other people he didn't know just because the right thing to do was to save them. And I am not even talking about Freddie; I am talking about girls who have seen an unfortunate world. I will read this book again in the future, and I am sure the emotion I felt the first time will not change.

It was interesting to read about Lagos traffic and how one could shop for anything while stuck in traffic. I'm not sure I have seen traffic that terrible, and I wonder how people survive in such situations. It sounds horrible, and I will definitely find it frustrating. I do hope that the Lagos of today is far different from the Lagos of the nineties and that things are way better now.

I rate Quest: Finding Freddie by Thomas Richard Spradlin a perfect 5 out of 5 stars because I disliked nothing about it. I recommend it to anyone who likes reading about different people and their customs. I would say that this book was professionally edited, as I only encountered a few errors while reading it.
