'It's all in the mind'—this phrase perfectly summarizes Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag by Kalliope Barlis. Through this non-fiction book, the author aims to advocate the applicability of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in advancing one's golf career. "By developing the mind, we can improve our game," says Kalliope. To know how to do that, read the book.

This brief book is structured into three sections, making it simple to grasp the concept of NLP and learn how to apply it to golf. The author includes illustrations, step-by-step instructions, and elaborated exercises that one can practice to train the mind. Readers can expect to achieve a higher level of mind-body coordination after reading this book and applying the techniques. The foreword by Chuck Hogan highlights the importance of mind-body coordination in golf, and the book further elaborates on the ways to achieve that.

There is nothing I dislike about this book. Throughout the book, we learn the importance of concentrating on the positives, visualizing the desired outcome, and training the mind to focus while practicing golf. The author, a trained NLP practitioner, clearly explains all concepts and nuances, making the book a valuable addition to every golf kit. I admire that the author states the difference between the mind and brain at the start of the book. Although the book is about golf, I believe the NLP techniques and principles apply to many other areas of life. This makes the book educational, practical, and motivational. We can achieve our dreams by training our senses and reflecting on the positive. Kalliope proved it by becoming a pro-golfer within a short time. Her anecdotes are truly inspiring.

Except for a handful of minor errors and some formatting discrepancies, the book is professionally edited. I rate this book 5 out of 5 for being concise, practical, motivational, and result-oriented. This book will assist every golfer and others to train their brains to reach their desired results. Our mind, after all, is our greatest strength and biggest weakness.

I agree with everything written in this review. I have also read this book. I am a believer in the neuro-linguistic programming technique. It has helped me to improve my golf game. The mind is more important than the clubs. If your thoughts are positive and your visualizations are vivid you will improve your game.

This book truly revolutionizes golf training by emphasizing the power of the mind. It's not just about technique but harnessing mental strength. Kalliope Barlis expertly merges NLP with golf, making it applicable beyond the course. A must-read for anyone serious about improving their game!
