Jan Ryde's "When Business Is Love" gives a new and transformative viewpoint in today's business world, where profit margins and competitive strategies often overshadow core values and human-centric approaches. Ryde, the CEO of Hästens, a well-known Swedish bed manufacturer, believes that love should be the foundation of business practices.

Right from the beginning, Ryde presents us with the rich history of Hästens, a prestigious Swedish bed manufacturer. Hästens was founded in 1852 by his great-grandfather, Pehr Adolf Janson, and has since changed its focus from making leather saddles to manufacturing top-quality beds worldwide. Guided by love, dedication, and a strong commitment to excellence, this transformation is at the core of Ryde's story.

The unique aspect of this book is Ryde's strong focus on love as the key to achieving business success. He argues that integrating love into all areas of business, from creating products to interacting with employees, results in joy, peace, and success. This ideology questions old ideas of fierce competition and supports teamwork, modesty, and emotional understanding.

A strong point of the book is its practical application of philosophical and psychological insights. Ryde explores the importance of having a growth mindset, the impact of positive thinking, and the importance of self-love and authenticity. He takes a comprehensive approach, considering both external and internal factors that impact personal and professional satisfaction. Also, the book is well-written and carefully revised, free of grammatical errors.

In conclusion, "When Business Is Love" is an excellent mix of autobiography, business guide, and self-help book. I give "When Business Is Love" by Jan Ryde a full five out of five stars for its valuable insights into Hästens' journey and its fresh perspective on achieving success. It has no negative points that undermine its quality.

I recommend this book to business owners and entrepreneurs for its practical advice on building a brand with a strong foundation and customer-centric focus.
