Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis is a fantastic guide bursting with insights to improve one’s golf game. Imagine you've got a savvy golf guide that gives you smart, simple hints. This is the second golf book I have read that is written by the same author. The first one and this are both similar in the sense that they help perfect golfing. In this book, there are no complex golf moves or brain-twisting rules. The book makes sure that it uses simple but effective techniques and also aims to switch up one’s golf mentality. The author was able to figure out that the mental aspect is just as vital as the physical form for ace golfing.

I enjoyed reading this book. It is crammed with easy-peasy drills and hints that will ensure that one has the mastery of golfing in a short period of time. I am a big fan of how simple the book keeps things. The author was able to hit a perfect mark with her guidance. It is great how she steers clear of complex terms and makes tricky concepts easy. She zeroes in on golf's mental game, which many forget about. You have to understand that your mind matters as much as your muscles in this sport. I mean, pros mess up their game all the time when they lose their temper, right? Staying focused and thinking positively can definitely change the game.

I also like that, even though I am not an expert at golf, it was simple for me to grasp what was written in the book and put it into practice. It is nice to see a book that does not just instruct you but also demonstrates the procedures clearly and easily. The book has a lot of solid points; however, I reckon that certain subjects needed a deeper explanation.

I get that the book is meant to be an easy guide, but it being too easy in all aspects might leave a lot of important parts to be left out. My dislike is simply that it was too simplified, and some parts were not explained better. It was only explained in a shallow manner.

However, my dislike does not affect my rating, and the book was exceptionally edited because it has no errors. Therefore, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to those who want to develop or improve their golfing skills.
