Review of Snatched Up to Heaven!
Snatched Up to Heaven!, written by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul, is a story based on the visions of their daughters, Priyanka and Deepika, being taken up to Heaven. Paul weaves complex material of Heaven and hell, as told by their four-year-old and two-year-old daughters, and that grasps your attention from the beginning. Beautiful imagery fills your head as you read the intimate details of the girls' encounter with Jesus, God, and other biblical leaders in the heavenly realms. The reader is captivated by information not often told—information from the point of view of a child. The reader will likely appreciate the scriptural references supporting the experiences both girls shared. Specifically, one will seek other stories about the perfect place without sickness, sorrow, or violence.
At such a tender age, Priyanka and Deepika share information with their parents that they could not have learned in Sunday School or any other setting that explains the Bible to children. Their innocence and purity shine through as they recount their multiple visions, allowing them to truly experience the light of Christ, feel the power of the Holy Spirit, and visit Father God beyond the pearly gates. The author's portrayal of their experiences will likely change your perspective on American holidays such as Halloween after reading of the girl's encounter walking through hell. The author vividly paints a picture of pain, desperation, and torment that lasts for eternity. Yet, the protective power of Jesus shields them from the elements and demonstrates his love, compassion, and yearning for all to know Him as their savior. During a time when many have turned their backs on God, this book shares so many details about His promises, and Paul invites every reader to surrender their life to Christ to be counted in the Book of Life.
The book had minimal grammatical mistakes that did not detract from the captivating story. It's genuinely a page-turner! Sometimes, the reader had to adjust to the PDF version; however, it did not take away from the book's beauty. You will want to hear more about Priyanka and Deepika's experiences. Thankfully, the authors share YouTube videos of their stories and beautiful artwork the girls created based on their meetings with Jesus. Overall, it's a book you'll recommend. Snatched up to Heaven is a book that will cause you to dig deeper, study the Word of God more, and desire to share the love of Christ with all. Most readers will be pleasantly surprised by the depth of the story about God's promise to all who believe. This book can potentially transform your understanding of faith and spirituality, and I give it a 5 out of 5 as it is very well written despite some grammatical errors.
