‘The Glorious Beast!’ renamed from The Beeping Brothers’ Road to Success by Scott L. Chally follows the story of Jimmy, Ricky, and Scott from Monticello, Iowa. Chally begins by narrating their ordeal in school before proceeding to write about how Ricky had gotten the idea to start up a company. Ricky had gotten this idea when he had helped Mrs. Weathersby carry in her groceries, and she had offered him $20 as a means of thanking him. Scott, Jimmy's father, on the other hand, had somehow mathematically calculated that since his birth date fell on a particular day according to the Bible, he was the Messiah. The business of Jimmy, Ricky, and Scott leads them on an adventure that you can only find out by grabbing a copy of this book.

Chally blends numerous themes into his story, themes that include spirituality, politics, action, comedy, and a host of others. I quite enjoyed how the author layers the story and uses the dialogue format to express the views, emotions, and parts of the characters in the story. The company that they created was called Ace Ventures, which specializes in supplies and transportation. The guys had to pull resources and ideas together to kickstart the business.

This book includes some biblical elements like Scott claiming to be the Messiah and some of the signs of the anti-Christ that may offend some readers, especially Christian readers, even though it is a work of fiction. Eventually, Ace Ventures leads them to form a connection with a drug cartel that plays a significant role in helping out with Scott's visions. I couldn't find any grammatical errors while I read through this book, hence it was exceptionally edited.

The fact that the author included a part stating the recommended audience before the book begins is commendable to help readers avoid it if they find it unsuitable. I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for its exceptional editing and well-relayed storyline. I will also recommend this book to readers of mature ages who are open-minded and have the right sense of humor for the story.
