E. Alan Fleishchauer's book "Reconfigurement" is about making plans and becoming ready for the future. Award-winning author E. Alan Fleischauer is a best-selling author on Amazon. The author writes from personal experience, having reconfigured his own life following a stroke many years ago. This book contains a plethora of information, especially when combined with his MBA, Master of Science in Financial Services, and experience starting his own financial advisory business.

This book, "Reconfigurement," covers a wide range of financial topics, including investment, long-term care, life insurance, retirement, wills, and trusts. Although this book is intended for all readers, anyone over 40 who is stuck or unclear about how to make plans for the future will find it quite helpful. I was really mistaken to think I would be reading a dryer novel when I started this one. The writing style of this book is meant to keep the reader engaged. The book has plenty of jokes, many of which are groaners, but they were a fun addition. At the conclusion of most sections, the author ends with a humorous aside of his opinion. I also liked it when the author included a thought-provoking aside; it gave the work more realism and lessened its textbook feel.
The fact that the average age of death is shifting and that we should be ready for that was maybe the book's greatest lesson for me.

The section of the book where the author dispelled a few social security myths was my favorite. I acknowledge that I was mistaken in some of these claims, and I'm relieved that my knowledge of social security has been updated.

I rate this book a 5/5. It was expertly edited and written in such a way as to keep the reader engaged despite the content not being overly exciting. When I was reading this book, I couldn’t help but think the author could write brilliant fiction novels. I was ecstatic to read at the end that the author had already done that.
