Having read the other golf guidebook from this author, I knew this one was bound to be a masterpiece. As the name suggests, Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book by Kalliope Barlis, the author goes further into the topic by giving more details on how to help aspiring pro golfers get on their game. By dividing the book into three parts, the author breaks down these steps to make assimilating easier. The first part emphasizes using the brain, and the second part involves incorporating much practice into your routine as a player. And the last part involves putting all your practice to good use by achieving a good game. The critical point that separates this book from the other one is that the author explains the golf cubs used for different games. She gives practical examples and details of how a player could play on different ranges.

I love how the author simplified this book; she made it easy for golfers and non-golfers to understand. Golfer players and athletes could use the tips the author gave in general. The book is very educational and written in simple grammar. I also appreciated the short chapters, as they were easy to read and did not bore the readers. It is the perfect pocket-size manual, easy enough to carry around. I appreciate that the author told us a bit about how she achieved her goal of being a professional golfer.

On the downside, the first book and this one are way too similar, but the author had her reasons for writing that way, and I respect that. I also noticed a few errors while I read this book. They were minor errors and did not impact my reading experience. This means that it was professionally edited.

Despite the downsides I mentioned earlier, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because they did not stop me from learning much from the book. I recommend this book to golfers and sports lovers.
