"Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book" by Kalliope Barlis is a practical guide that aims to help golfers of all levels improve their game quickly. Unlike other golf books that focus mostly on swing techniques, Barlis takes a different approach. She combines mental strategies with physical tips to help golfers get better.

The book is divided into three main parts. The first part focuses on the mental side of golf. Barlis explains that having the right mindset is very important. She offers advice on how to stay positive and focused during a game. This is key because golf is as much about mental strength as it is about physical skill. The second part deals with practicing. Barlis emphasizes the importance of practicing effectively. Instead of just hitting a lot of balls, she suggests specific drills that can help improve your skills more quickly. The third part covers strategies for playing golf. Barlis provides tips on how to handle different situations on the course, like dealing with tough shots and managing your game plan.

One thing I really liked about this book is how easy it is to understand. Barlis writes in a clear and straightforward way, making it easy to follow her advice. The book also includes helpful diagrams that show how to do various drills and techniques. These visuals make it easier to see what you need to do and how to do it right. I found this especially useful for learning new skills and improving my game.

Another great feature of the book is its motivational tone. Barlis shares her own experiences and how she used the techniques in the book to become a better golfer. Her personal stories are inspiring and encourage readers to believe in their own potential. This adds a personal touch that makes the book more engaging and relatable.

The only minor issue is that some of the concepts might be a bit advanced for complete beginners. However, even if you are new to golf, you can still benefit from the practical advice and tips in the book. Overall, the book is well edited with no errors, making it a smooth read. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars for its clear writing, helpful tips, and motivating content. I recommend this book to anybody who wants to improve at playing golf.
