5 out of 5 stars.

Kalliope Barlis’ “Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book” is a great book for any golfer who wants to enhance his or her skills, regardless of whether they are beginner or experienced players. There are several compelling reasons why this book earns a rating of 5 stars.

Foremost among them is the book’s breakthrough in using Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) tools in golf training. It helps improve mental focus and performance on the course through clear actionable steps about using NLP techniques. Examples include exercises like “The Swish Pattern for Golfing Excellence” and “Anchoring Good Shots,” which give practical means to mentally rehearse and improve each hit thus making it enjoyable and successful.

Moreover, the book is well-structured with easy-to-understand flow. This can be seen from its three major sections, such as ‘Using Your Brain’, ‘Practicing Golf,’ and ‘Playing Golf’ all having detailed instructions and illustrations. That part, for instance, has specific exercises for controlling various shots and lies such as sidehill, uphill as well as downhill. These elaborate practice routines enable golfers at every level to understand and apply techniques effectively.

Another notable aspect is that the author focuses on how to use everyday situations practically. Barlis advises readers to keep referring back through this guidebook all along starting from when it was put in their golf bags until finishing playing an individual round. By so doing, one will reflect on how they can have the best game ever even while at the course.

Also, this book stresses setting clear targets that you could achieve at some point in time; hence its motivational aspect is highly commendable towards achieving personal goals. On one hand, she tells them to set up particular goals for each game day so that they can imagine winning it before beginning this round. Therefore, apart from improving performance, these objectives make playing more enjoyable.

Even though “Play Golf Better Faster” is excellent, some readers might feel overwhelmed by the extensive treatment of NLP techniques. Furthermore, this may not easily be achievable by typical golfers who don’t have enough time for many practices and continuous mental exercises. However, these factors do not take away from the worth and efficiency of the book hence it still deserves a five-star rating.

Although the book is excellent and well written without any flaws, and the editing of the book is exceptional, overall the book deserves a 5-star rating.

In conclusion, reading “Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book” should be a must for any person who wants to improve their golfing skills. Its innovative use of NLP, practical advice, and motivation all combine to make it an invaluable resource that fully earns each one of its 5 stars.
