"Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book" by Kalliope Barlis is a useful book, particularly for those golfers who want to improve their game as soon as possible. Reading the book, which is helpful for beginners and professional players, will strengthen one's position on the field. While the advice Barlis gives is rather practical, she also puts a lot of focus on the psychological aspect, which makes the guide valuable for any golfer.

Among the merits of this book is that it is written in a very simple format and language, so everyone can easily read and understand it. The book is very short, which makes it not boring. Because of its nature, I think it can be carried around by golfers to practice sessions without much difficulty. The language used is clear, which simplifies complicated procedures into achievable instructions that a firm can easily follow. Barlis’ stressing confidence and a certain state of mind are very helpful and make the advice worth learning from. It would be appropriate to draw readers’ attention to the fact that the book is devoted to different aspects of the game and contains numerous illustrations. Due to the structure of the book, none of the subjects is complicated or mixed with others, and as a result, readers have an easy time locating and applying the information they require. I recommend this book to both professional golfers and beginners. I believe learning never ends.

Still, it is necessary to note that this book has some weaknesses. This feature is a simple compilation of Barlis’ previous productions; there is no section on the guidelines for field golf. However, these are hardly detracting factors for a book that is well-produced and full of information that can be of use to any golfer seeking to develop the game further. In terms of practical recommendations and easy layout, I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars. This book was error-free and exceptionally edited. My aforementioned flaw is not enough to detract a star from this book.
