Snatched Up to Heaven, by Jemima and Arvind Pauls, is a non-fiction book telling a detailed revelation and vivid description of heaven and hell as it has been revealed to their children, Priyanka and Deepika.

Priyanka and Deepika have given a recount about their experiences in heaven and hell, according to them, where they had gone through divine dreams and visions. The experience of going to heaven by these children is vividly expressed in the book. As guided by angels, they enter a place that has golden buildings and flowers with animals. They met Jesus, who was very friendly with them and exhibited his wounds before them as well as allowing them to sit on his throne. Heaven, as described by the little girls, was a joyous realization for them; they felt no pain in it, heavenly food around angels such as Noah and Queen Esther.

On the other hand, Priyanka’s vision of hell is filled with dark, terrifying images. It describes hell as fiery flames, intense heat, and a bad smell, as well as souls who did not obey Jesus while still alive on earth. In this torturing stage of demons, still the children saw that these people were made to worship the devil without anything to eat or drink. The portrayal of hell that Priyanka presents here can be perceived as a horrible place for punishment whereby even those condemned dearly wished to flee, though they couldn’t do so. These revelations bring out clearly how different heaven and hell are, serving as a grim reminder why we should lead righteous lives so we could gain joy and peace after death.

My greatest part of the book came when Priyanka and Deepika told us about their meeting with Jesus in heaven. I cannot forget these innocent accounts from young girls; they describe how kind he looked while still having a crown made of yellow metal on his head, among other things, such as showing his scars.

I rate this book 5 stars out of 5 for its inspiring content that deeply moved me spiritually. The book offers an original aspect of what life after death may be like when you perceive it through the eyes of innocent kids.

I recommend this book to readers who want to strengthen their faith and get a more intimate feeling of what goes on in life after death.
