This is a fascinating book that details some of the various dreams and visions experienced by the author’s two young daughters. The girls were far too young at the ages of four and two, to make these visions up. Even if they had heard Bible stories and sermons on heaven and hell, there is no plausible way that they could’ve made up all of the Biblically sound details the author records them describing. This book tells of the author's very detailed account of the children’s claimed experiences, alternating between the childish storytelling of the children, and the thoroughly researched parallels between what the girls claim about Heaven and Hell and what the Bible says about those places. The girls described Heaven and Hell in terms and ways that are common in little children like describing colors, emotions, clothes, sparkly and shimmery things, and smells. In other words, the children described things in tune with their senses. Their childish thoughts automatically turned to the bright pretty objects and how the adults looked. When describing Heaven they gave very Bibically sound descriptions of that place like the beautiful streets of gold, mansions, the people there, and Jesus himself. When they described Hell, they didn’t hold back on the descriptions of monsters, disgusting smells, and uncomfortable feelings. The author did a wonderful job telling things from their kid's point of view. I deeply enjoyed this story. I especially liked how the author used the vocabulary of the children and didn't shy away from telling the more incoherent facts they mentioned, for instance, the way the children actually describe the assent into Heaven. This book is a very stirring read, and it is guaranteed to make any reader eager to go to that wonderful place called Heaven and avoid the horrible place called Hell if they believe in such things. I recommend this book and I’ll definitely read it again!
