Review of Unchecked capitalism is killing us!
Earl Rynerson's nonfiction book Unchecked Capitalism is Killing Us aims to educate readers about the harm that unbridled capitalism, corporate greed, and corruption have done to Americans.
The author publicly attacked a few American companies, including Pfizer, Wells Fargo Bank, and Bank of America, claiming that if the government did not accept bribes from these businesses, America would not be where it is now. The author also discussed how these companies make demands. The author raised concerns about taxation, stating that large firms that need to pay more are becoming wealthier and receiving favorable treatment even if they fail to comply with their tax obligations by dodging taxes. They achieve this by making alluring offers to people in positions of authority, or those who aspire to be in them, by threatening and manipulating them. Small business owners, however, are the ones that suffer the most from this high tax burden. Regretfully, this has persisted for years and is not exclusive to taxes. The author also discusses how these businesses have an impact on the nation's political landscape. So what might be the answer to these issues? Check it out by reading a copy of this book.
There are many good things in the book. The author's clumsy writing style contributed to the story's high level of interest and engagement. I appreciate that he included facts and specifics to support his criticisms of these prestigious organizations in addition to his criticisms. The cover page of the book is also really attractive. It has the power to captivate readers. Reading the book was also made very understandable by the authors' choice of straightforward language. Each chapter flowed naturally from the next without any misunderstanding and was incredibly succinct. The book also made the general public aware of how the government works with powerful corporations to take advantage of the common person's small resources. The author described it as "unchecked capitalism." There was nothing about this book that I disliked, and I truly liked reading it.
I will give this book a rating of five out of five stars because I really enjoyed reading it and it captured my attention from start to finish. I noticed no errors while reading it, which is a proof of how exceptionally well edited the book is. I will recommend this book to readers of nonfiction as well as citizens of the nation because I believe it will teach them a few things.
