Snatched Up to Heaven! by authors Jemima & Arvind Paul is a non-fiction account of the authors' astounding story of their two young daughters' experience with visions of heaven and hell. Jemima narrates the story, alternating between a word-for-word retelling of the girls' visions and her interpretation of what happened to her daughters, Priyanka and Deepika. Jemima includes biblical references as she seeks to explain what happened and why Jesus chose to let the girls see heaven and hell.

Priyanka and Deepika were young when they started having visions of heaven and hell, only four and two years old, respectively. Their explanation of what happened is that of children simply recounting supernatural experiences. They describe their time with God and His son Jesus. They were unafraid of Jesus because He was kind and told the girls He loved them. They explained biblically confirmed aspects of heaven and hell that such young children would not know, including the sulfur smells of hell, and that married couples are no longer married in heaven.

I enjoyed this short book because it reminds the readers of the innocence of youth and the Lord's emphasis on children and their unwavering faith. These young girls had such faith in Jesus that He chose to show them heaven to share stories about the Lord. My favorite portion of this book is the author's justification of events with biblical passages and arguments. It would be easy to pass off the girls' account as a dream or fictional story, but the details they included are straight from the Bible. The author references each verse that correlates with the girls' visions.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I found nothing to dislike within the story. I saw no grammatical errors, as the book is exceptionally well-edited. Christian believers will enjoy this story and should take heart in the confirmation of their beliefs out of the mouths of babes. I recommend this book to Christian readers and those who enjoy stories from children or those with a particular interest in life after death. I appreciate Jemima's commentary on fear. With God on the throne, we have nothing to fear. We should have the faith of Priyanka and Deepika that God has His hands on every one of us, and even though death can seem final, heaven is eternal.
