Golf is known for its difficulty, but there’s a book that can make mastering the game easier: “Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book” by Kalliope Barlis. This essential handbook is a must-have for any golfer, whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out. It not only discusses the technical aspects of the game, but it also highlights the value of mental focus and self-belief. The book illustrates how important your mindset is for mastering golf, ensuring you are physically and mentally prepared when you get onto the course.

In this book, the author covers essential skills, techniques, and strategies, along with other key requirements for golfing success. The main focus is on developing the reader’s mindset and teaching the game in a way that helps them play like a professional. The book includes helpful illustrations, particularly for aiming, making shots, and understanding the different ball positions during play. To fully appreciate the book’s value and insights, it’s a must-read.

I acknowledge the author’s effort to motivate golfers by encouraging them to imagine themselves as the perfect golfer they hope to be. This procedure is truly inspiring, especially for those new to the game. The illustrations in the book are also excellent, and the intriguing questions will really make you reflect on yourself. The way the author connects with readers throughout the book is exceptional, and I highly commend that.

I couldn’t find anything to criticize or dislike about this book. I enjoyed every part of it, especially the motivation and mind development sections. Although I did spot one minor error, it doesn’t affect my overall rating of the book.

I’m giving this book 5 out of 5 stars because it met all my expectations. When I first saw the title “Play Golf Better Faster: The Little Golf Bag Book,” I was hoping for a direct guide that covers the basics of the game, and that’s exactly what this book delivers and more. The author’s ability to connect with readers like me also contributed to my high rating. I highly recommend this book to golfers and aspiring golfers who are looking for focus and clarity in their game without any distractions.
