Quest: Finding Freddie by Thomas Richard Spradlin is a book that follows the story of a man named Freddie Nachman, a Swedish national who lived in the United States. Freddie Nachman had suddenly gone missing in Lagos, Nigeria, while on a business trip. Freddie Nachman, who was married to Ruth Nachman, was the chief executive of the Nachman International Trading Corporation (NITC).

Richard Spradlin, a partner of the Clifford and Wanke Law Firm, was assigned the daunting task of finding Freddie, who was one of the firm's clients. This assignment came after Richard returned from Nigeria, where he had been filing a claim for demurrage payments. This assignment came at a difficult time due to the significant political unrest in Nigeria. Was Richard successful in his pursuit of finding Freddie? Purchase this book and read it to find out.

I am thoroughly impressed by the author's pacing in this book, as it perfectly matches the book's narrative. It never felt rushed; the story flowed well, which allowed me to connect with the book. The character development in this book was exceptional. Every character had a proper background story so readers could understand the story and follow the book's narrative closely.

I liked how the author, through his amazing writing, perfectly depicts what life was like in Nigeria during the political tension that the country was under in 1976. I learned some historical information about Nigeria and its political dynamics in 1976. I am sure readers who are history lovers would appreciate this extra layer of information.

In terms of rating, I give this book a solid rating of five out of five stars for the reasons I have previously stated. I disliked nothing about this book, so there was no reason to deny it a perfect rating.

I found no grammatical errors as this book was edited exceptionally well. I recommend this book to history lovers as they get to learn about events in Nigeria's history.
