Our senior years should be characterized by relaxation, liberty, and comfort as we enjoy the fruit of our lifetime labors. If you are smart enough to plan for your future, you can free yourself from financial pressure and enjoy your earnings, no matter how old you are. E. Alan Fleischauer’s "Reconfigurement" provides a practical guide to achieving this vision. Thus, the book can be considered a guide to financial management, regardless of the age and stage of the career. Fleischauer provides basic information that includes career assessments, wealth management, life insurance, and long-term care, among others, that would enable the readers to plan for their future financial security.

What is quite noticeable in "Reconfigurement" is that Fleischauer writes in a friendly tone and uses very simple language. How he speaks, the jokes he makes, and the way he explains things make it quite easy to understand financial matters. Instead of going through the information formally and academically, he uses examples and tips that are easily understandable. It not only educates the readers but also encourages them to act in a certain way towards achieving their financial objectives.

Another unique feature of the book is Fleischauer’s discussion of how crises can be actual chances for development. I found his discourse on the cultural aspects of crises as an interesting perspective on how to approach life’s problems. His guidelines on career assessment and investment were also very helpful and useful, which made the book not only informative but also useful.

I highly recommend "Reconfigurement" to anyone interested in enhancing their financial planning, regardless of their stage in life. The book is professionally edited, and I found no errors. Also, I found nothing to dislike in the book. For its clear guidance, engaging writing, and comprehensive content, it deserves a five out of five-star rating. However, it may not be suitable for readers seeking a highly specialized financial guide focused exclusively on advanced investment strategies. Overall, Fleischauer’s book is a valuable resource for anyone looking to achieve financial security and peace of mind.
