Unlikely Righteousness by Tina Kowalski is about various characters in the Bible who may have seemed to be faring well when it came to matters of spirituality; not exactly perfect compared to the likes of Abraham, but due to their unwavering nature, they earned some points. After all, the end justifies the means, right?

We have Cain in the first chapter, where we are reminded of his treasonous acts and the repercussions. Pharaoh has been shed light on twice; we have Hagar, Abimelech, Abraham's unnamed servant, Laban, Leah, Esau, Shechem, Shiphrah, and Puah, and Pharaoh's daughter. The author builds on the characters mentioned above, stating their motivation and their acts that deemed them as great people, regardless of their background or their predisposed condition at birth.

The book has been professionally edited. With countable errors, the book is quite understanding and memorable. The author has striven to keep the audience entertained by his mode of narration. The editing used does pose a warm feel; hence, a reader is able to enjoy the book. Chapters are provided to cater to various topics and individuals the author aimed to discuss, and the final points were indicated like a summary at the end of each chapter. The book has a lot of Bible verses and references.

I basically found nothing to dislike in the book and generally liked it. It emphasizes more the importance of everyone; even though one may not be the main actor in God's providence, that doesn't mean they aren't important or the like. The actions one takes continuously and without wavering are what give someone credit in front of God and can place them at a vantage point for God to use them like a vessel.

I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars for the education since there are characters not so common to Christians as well as other stories that may not be common talk in the Christian world. I would recommend it to Christian clerics since it has some new gospel for sure.
