Emotional Cure for Autism: Unknown Contribution of Relaxed Pleasure by Norio Ando talks about the positive effects of relaxed pleasure on autistic children, like improving the flexibility of their minds, helping them emotionally respond to loved ones, etc., and how to increase relaxed pleasure through various methods. The book gives in-depth explanations of the basis of relaxed pleasure and tensioned expression in children. It also provides practical tips and examples that parents can follow at home.

Overall, it was a wonderful book to read. I gained valuable knowledge about autism, how increasing relaxed pleasure in autistic children can be a method of treatment, and the ways it can be done. The book contains several drawings that show how the treatment methods can work on the child and the steps that need to be followed. I believe the drawings will help readers to easily visualize the methods and gain clarity. The book is easily accessible on Amazon with both a paperback option as well as a Kindle option, at affordable prices, and I am sure the book will be resourceful and informative to parents and educators. The author also provided case studies where the treatment methods helped autistic children and their parents become emotionally closer, among other positive effects.

While the book provides large amounts of knowledge, the book is lengthy, and I found myself getting confused at certain parts, which frustrated me. However, a second read helped clear my doubts. I would encourage readers to take notes as they read the book to keep track of the information, so they don’t have to go back and forth all the time.

Unfortunately, I found multiple typos and grammatical errors, which reduced my enjoyment of the book. A round of editing can help in ridding the book of errors.

I rate the book 4 out of 5 stars for the reasons given above, cutting one star only because of the numerous errors and typos I found. I would be more than happy to give the book a higher rating once the book has been revised. I recommend the book to parents, teachers, and people who want to know more about autism and treatment methods that involve increasing relaxed pleasure in autistic children.

This sounds like an interesting book. However, it certainly sounds like revision is needed especially since the reviewer found parts confusing and there were numerous errors.
