Having a stable financial life is one of the hardest jobs for an adult in this current world with all of needs and wants, so Kemi Emmanuel decided to work on the amazing book, Money skills for Teens Made Simple to help with that, and as the title says, it's for teens and the gradual introduction into the world of finance and how to navigate successfully and easily through it. The book discusses a wide range of topics concerning finance and everything you need to know about it growing up, from securing more allowances as a teen, how to work for more money, how to save properly, how to invest, and why you should invest. The book has it all in details; I don't think anyone can read this book from the beginning to the end and say he or she didn't learn a single thing about finance.

The author takes us through the journey of saving, budgeting, and investing. The author starts by telling us what financial jargon is in simple English and then moves on to explain setting your first budget using real-life examples teens can relate to, which I found to be very helpful as they can see this as something that they do or something they can relate to. The author discussed using the 50/30/20 rule in terms of setting up your first budget. I found this rule to be very helpful, and I feel many teens would too. This is because this rule can help you prioritize your spending. This book has everything you are looking for in terms of finance. The author also talks about finding the best bank to use, the most suitable card to use (either debit or credit card), and also how to navigate the world of scams and fraud and ways to avoid being a victim of phishing. I can boldly say this book is the ultimate guide for teens to know about financial jargon. Why did I say this? Because the author went as far as to explain every little term used in finance, such as assets, liabilities, and others. The author also discussed extensively on credit score and the importance of maintaining a good record. I can boldly recommend this book to teens who have little or no idea about finance and its vast world. They will gain a lot from this book.

I rate this book five out of five stars—an amazing read with no errors whatsoever. It was properly and thoroughly edited, which I liked. The book did not contain any profanities or sexual content, which I appreciated. I did have a great time reading this book, as I've learned a lot for myself and also enough to teach others. Pick up this book, and you won't regret it.

For me personally, it's been challenging to have a stable income. Even jobs are hard to find and so many adults are in a financial mess. It's either we were not taught well or we miss something. This book provides another change to learn money skills.
