I have come to understand that life is full of possibilities. Nothing is completely impossible. All you need to do is overcome your insecurities and fears, which are often our greatest obstacles.

Dr. Barbara V. Crump is the epitome of great potential and fear. In her book, From GED to Ph.D., she revealed the greatest miracle of her life. This would encourage you.

Her life began in the remote village of Cartersville, located on the James River. It all began when she got pregnant in her early teenage years. Being pregnant at thirteen for a nineteen-year-old opened her up to a world of uncertainties. These uncertainties included the suspension of her academic pursuit. How did she eventually climb the ladder of academic success? I would encourage you to read this book yourself.

This book impacted me so much to the point that I had to read it twice. I'm at that place in my life right now where I have to suspend my academic pursuit due to other pressing issues. And age is not on my side anymore. What will I do? I'm grateful that this book showed me the next best step.

What excited me the most was Barbara's eventual husband, Spencer. He was indeed the ultimate secret in her journey to success. There were many instances where she could have given up, but her husband was always by her side. I couldn't write this piece about Barbara's life without recognizing Spencer, her husband. It wouldn't be complete. This was the part of the whole story that gave me goosebumps. Life's challenges are disadvantages, but a good spouse is an advantage to those challenges.

I sincerely don't have any negative issues to point out in this book. I enjoyed the entire story. I'm in the place in my life now where I need to be encouraged to move forward. The book didn't have too many errors. I only found a missing preposition. But it was professionally edited.

Due to the great effort exacted in this book, I will give it a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to those who are considering giving up on their God-given dreams. After reading this book, I decided to try returning back to school for my post-graduate studies. That's how I felt the impact of the book.

She must have had a very difficult journey. I thought that I had a hard time, but what I have accomplished was relatively easy when compared to Dr. Crump. Thanks!

The book was read twice by the reviewer, this shows how truly impactful this book is. Having a baby as a teenager is no joke as it is like a baby having a baby. Spencer seems like a great source of strength to Barbara who helped her overcome the academic mountain. This book is surely a great source of inspiration.
