The roadmap to the end of days is written by Daniel Friedmann. As part of his three part series on inspired studies. This book is ten chapters and 250 pages long. This story was published in 2017 as a first edition E-book and his other two books are E-books. there are no grammatical errors in this book. The book takes the readers on a journey though biblical and current history that charts the course towards the end of days. The author explains that he isn’t trying to relate all historical events of the world into one biblical scenario.
What I like first and foremost about this book is that he tries to go through biblical history using both the bible and the Torah to explain events that happen in the bible. Secondly, I also like the understanding that there is misunderstanding of the end of days based on interpretation of the two main source materials. Thirdly, I enjoyed that he split the days that god created the world in days but by years because when the six days are talked about in church it’s like he took a week to create the earth then the last day he rested. When in actuality its thousands of years that the world took shape and is still taking shape. Lastly, I like that the author takes his time to explain how things in the biblical world does in some ways relate to events today.
However, there are four things I did not like in this book. The first that I did not enjoy about this book is that the author mentions the Quran in the introduction, but never mentions it again or tries to use the book along with the Torah and the Bible as another road map to the end of days. Secondly, the terminology in this book can be a bit overwhelming to the point where you’re reading the book and the definitions to help make the book readable, I didn’t mind that it’s a learning experience. Thirdly, the comparisons of dates between the bible and events in today’s world is kind of a stretch with the biblical years and the Gregorian calendar years. The fourth and final thing that I did not like is this book this book brings up questions but some answers in some places and not others like the whole Ben joseph person or entity.
Would I recommend this book to another person? The answer is yes absolutely. I would recommend this book because it is a mind maze that can make a person question whether or not we are living in the end times. This book would be good for a person who is into end time studies and people who are in a biblical book club. This book didn’t let me down because I like the speculative end time’s study there is more to add with each passing year. Also, I would recommend this book to pastors and preachers to use in their sermons or in bible studies with the congregation.
I rate this book a 4 out of 4 because this author took the time to craft an interpretation of the end of days. Whether it is right or wrong depends on who is reading this book. Also, this is a standalone book that can be compared and contrasted to other writers of the end times and can be a conversation starter with others. This book offers a challenge to the reader to do more than just read the bible or Torah and inspires readers to explore biblical history. As well as ask questions of religious leaders of their understanding of the end times as well as their knowledge of the bible.
